On January 19 a dolphin was reported at Thurlestone. It turned out to be two. Over the next couple of days more washed up between Bantham and Salcombe, a total of five or six. Most, if not all, were taken to London for autopsy.
Preliminary inspection suggests these were all victims of pelagic trawling. More images and autopsy results will be posted as they become available.
